As an Azure & AI Data Architect, you will play a key role in designing and evolving our enterprise data platform while helping unlock the full potential of modern AI technologies. * Design, develop, and optimize ALPLA's Azure-based Central Data Hub

* Build and maintain scalable data integration and transformation solutions

* Develop and manage enterprise-wide data catalog and governance capabilities

* Implement and maintain secure data access and protection concepts

* Support and onboard internal and external data providers and consumers

* Ensure data quality, availability, and performance through monitoring and automation

* Drive continuous improvement of data ingestion, storage, and provisioning processes

* Collaborate with global stakeholders to deliver reliable and future-ready data solutions

* Explore and leverage modern AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI services

What makes you great

* University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field

* Strong experience with Microsoft Azure data services and cloud architectures

* Solid understanding of data security, governance, and access management

* Knowledge of AI technologies and large language models (e.g. Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Claude, Codex) or a strong willingness to continuously learn in this area

* Experience with IT Service Management processes and ServiceNow is an advantage

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication skills in English and German

* Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working within global cross-functional teams
