WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Verify designs of new modules/products/changes and analyze design for manufacturing.

* Combine BOM strategy with manufacturing line

* Review design solutions in terms of safety, ergonomics, tooling, Form-Fit-Function

* Create Work Instructions and production process steps

* Implement cost-efficient methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.

* Implement non standard customer requests onto products and transfer to manufacturing

* Support to transfer new products into high volume manufacturing.

* Work closely with suppliers and remote factories

* Implement new ideas and defining new ways of processes to reduce costs and assembly time

* Continuous Improvement for products, process and manufacturing

WHO WE RE LOKKING FOR

* Technical education (completed apprenticeship - Lehre; HTL Elektronik/Mechatronik preferred) or higher

* 5+ years of relevant work experience

* MS office, Siemens Teamcenter & SAP skills

* Experience on lean manufacturing and Design for Manufacturing methodologies preferred

* Hands on experience with CAD, NX or similar tools

* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

* Self-managed and proactive working style

WHAT WE ARE OFFERING

A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.

WORKING HOURS

* Flexitime model 38,5 hours/week, Core hours (Mo-Th 9-15, Fr 9-11:30)
