1 Internship: Power Electronics Laboratory Operations & Digitalization Job Description:

In your new role you will: º 1.Calibration & Asset Management Maintain and continuously update the laboratory equipment inventory andasset database. Coordinate and schedule calibration and maintenance activities withinternal and external service providers. Manage calibration certificates, service records, and compliancedocumentation. Monitor calibration due dates and ensure timely execution to maintainaudit readiness. º 2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination Create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)within the ERP system. Track orders, deliveries, invoices, and supplier communications. Ensure availability of laboratory consumables, test fixtures, spareparts, and office supplies. Support budget tracking and cost reporting for laboratory operations. º 3. Laboratory Operations & Logistics Coordinate day-to-day laboratory activities, including workspacebookings and equipment reservations. Manage laboratory access permissions and visitor coordination. Organize incoming and outgoing shipments, including laboratory samplesand equipment. Support laboratory safety, housekeeping, and compliance activities. Assist in organizing laboratory events, demonstrations, and customervisits. º 4. Documentation & Quality Management Maintain structured laboratory documentation, including SOPs, workinstructions, calibration records, maintenance logs, and audit evidence. Prepare reports, presentations, and KPI dashboards for laboratoryperformance tracking. Support internal and external audits by ensuring documentation accuracyand availability. Drive continuous improvement of document management processes. º 5. Data Analytics, Automation & AI Support Develop and maintain Python-based tools for data processing, reporting,and workflow automation. Support implementation of AI-driven solutions to improve laboratoryefficiency and productivity. Analyze laboratory utilization, equipment performance, and operationalmetrics. Create dashboards and automated reports using Microsoft Power BI, Excel,Power Automate, or similar tools. Assist with digitalization initiatives and process optimizationprojects. º 6. Technical & Engineering Support Assist engineers in setting up, organizing, and maintaining powerelectronics test environments. Support measurement data collection, basic analysis, and resultdocumentation. Maintain test setups, cables, connectors, and laboratory accessories ingood working condition. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve laboratory workflows andoperational efficiency.

Candidate Profile:

You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:
º Organizational Skills Strong organizational and planning skills with a structured anddetail-oriented working style. º Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic laboratoryenvironment. º Communication & Collaboration Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; º German isa plus. º Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and internationalteams. Proactive, reliable, and customer-oriented mindset. º Digital Skills Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams,Outlook). Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an advantage. º Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint, or similardigital tools is beneficial. Programming & Data Analytics Basic to intermediate programming skills in Python. º Interest in AI, machine learning, data analytics, and processautomation.
