We work closely with leading international research centers and clinical partners. Our goal is to sustainably improve the quality of life of people with balance disorders through innovative technologies.
Your TasksDesign, develop, and verify electronic hardware for embedded medical devices, from concept through product releaseDevelop and optimize Bluetooth® and RF antenna solutions, including simulation, prototyping, testing, and performance validationPerform schematic design, select component selection, conduct PCB design reviews, and perform hardware bring-up activitiesExecute hardware verification, EMC/RF testing, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of complex electronic systemsContribute to hardware architecture decisions and prepare technical documentation in compliance with applicable quality standards and medical device regulationsYour ProfileBachelor's degree or higher degree (University, FH) in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related fieldExperience in electronic hardware development, including schematic design, component selection, PCB design, and hardware verificationKnowledge of RF and antenna design principles, preferably for Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) or other wireless communication systemsBasic software development skills in C/C++ and/or Rust for embedded platforms, with understanding of microcontrollers and digital interfacesIndependent, analytical and solution-oriented working style, combined with excellent communication skills and a very good command of EnglishFurther information about MED-EL can be found https://www.medel.com/about-medel.Permanent full-time post 38,5 hours per week, flexible working time model with core working hours, details will be discussed in a personal interview.Want to join a company that helps bring the joy of sound to people with hearing loss?
