Your responsibilities - what awaits you:

-Independent research with the aim of writing a dissertation in the field of science and technology studies (STS) with a possible focus on sustainability and social-ecological justice, science as culture and practice, knowledge and democracy, infrastructures

-Independent teaching at Bachelor's and Master's level

-Publishing academic articles and presenting at national and international conferences

-Collaboration in organisational tasks of the department

-Participation in public relations activities of the department and the faculty

Your profile:

-Completed Master's or Diploma degree in a social science subject (e.g., science and technology studies, sociology, political science) at a domestic or foreign university, completed with at least good grades in social science subjects

-Proven knowledge of social science research methods

-Proven knowledge of social science theories and subject areas, especially science and technology studies

-Very good command of written and spoken English

This distinguishes you additionally:

-Experience in qualitative social science methods

-Experience in university teaching

-Experience in working on research projects

-Experience in organising scientific events

-Knowledge of German or willingness to learn German within 2 years

-Team, communication and organisational skills
