IMCD South East Europe GmbH, part of IMCD Group, is looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Sales Manager Coatings & Construction, who wants to make a real impact and actively shape the future of IMCD?s Coatings & Construction business in Southern Austria, Slovenia and Croatia., working full-time in our state-of-the-art SEE headquarter in Vienna, Austria. 1 Sales Manager Coatings & Construction (F/M/D)

Main tasks and responsibilities

* Technical sales and application consulting in Coatings & Construction field for the assigned territory (Southern Austria, Slovenia and Croatia)

* Actively seek and develop new business opportunities and new customers to ensure long-term growth in relevant market segments

* Ensure and secure business to existing customers and develop further relationship

* Negotiating commercial conditions with customers, sending offers/samples to customers

* Independent and autonomous preparation and calculation of all offers and framework agreements

* Regular customer visits

* Keep close contact with suppliers (reporting, technical and commercial discussions etc. upon request) as well as with other co-workers within IMCD

* Market research on customer and market potentials, identification of potential trends

* Regular reporting to the Business Unit Manager and continuous reporting and documentation of activities in CRM system (Salesforce)

Competencies and Requirements

* Ideally University degree in Chemistry/Paint/Construction technology or closely related subject

* Background in Chemistry is considered as an advantage

* Sales experience in chemical industry

* High motivation, flexibility and reliability

* Willingness to learn new skills job related and continuous self-development

* Willingness to travel, driving license class B

* German, English and Serbo-Croatian language skills are a must
