The Merchant Onboarding Associate works in close cooperation with the Partnership Managers in order to review and validate merchant documentation and business information. Their responsibility is to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with KYC/KYB and internal requirements before merchant activation.

The Merchant Onboarding Associate is also responsible for assisting our restaurant and retail partners in onboarding their venues, ensuring their menus are updated on the platform and offering general day-to-day support.

Day-to day

* Review and cross-check merchant documentation (KYC/KYB, contracts, entity records) collected by the Sales team

* Approve or reject merchant cases in internal systems, with clear justification

* Communicate with merchants and internal stakeholders by phone, text, or other channels to coordinate onboarding

* Escalate incomplete, unclear, or high-risk cases per internal procedures

* Onboarding venues into Wolt's Platform. This includes contracts, photography, menu, translation and Wolt app training.

* Building relationships with our restaurant and retail partners by training them on using our systems and keeping them up to speed on any updates

* Ensuring our portfolio of restaurants and retail shops reach the highest Wolt service standards by conducting frequent quality and satisfaction checks

* Managing equipment inventory
